Registration for the Marine Corps Marathon 10K is today at noon! It’s $48 to register (not bad for the best race ever!)  and race day is Sunday, October 28, 2012. Just in time for registration, the MCM has announced some new, and exciting, changes to the 10K course!

“The hugely popular MCM10K adds more Mall to the 6.2 mile course in 2012. By shifting the start to the opposite side of the National Mall to the intersection of Madison and 12th Streets, the course now includes sights such as the US Capitol, National Museum of American Indian, National Gallery of Art and Hirshhorn Museum before heading to Arlington and the Marine Corps War Memorial finish. Registration opens on April 4 at Noon…”

“The new MCM10K course gives runners from all over the world the opportunity to run a truly scenic 6.2 miles from the landmarks of the nation’s capital to the remarkable finish at the memorial that symbolizes triumph,” says Rick Nealis, MCM Director.

Last year’s 10K race sold out and with the record-breaking sell out of the 37th MCM , MCM10K bibs are expected to move quickly as well.

Can’t wait to register with all of you! Good luck and see you out there!
